"This piece holds a special place in my heart. It's a tribute to my memories of my pop's house and the delightful magpies that filled the air with their beautiful melodies and playful attitudes.At Pop's place, there was always a little bread plate in the fridge, topped with fresh mince – a treat for his beloved magpie friends. It brought him so much joy to feed them daily, and I cherished those moments with him, basking in the warm sun on the back verandah, sharing Tim Tams and making memories.Though he's no longer with us, I miss him dearly. I hope this artwork would have made him proud and found a special place in his heart and home.."
